# Contact Credits

Contact enrichment is credit-based. For any contact added to your segment (dataset), you will be charged a credit. Whether you enrich it with an email or not doesn’t affect the credit usage.

The estimated credit usage is shown when you start a persona search.

{% hint style="success" %}
Note, you will only be charged a credit once for each unique profile at a company. For example, if we find the same person we have already enriched for another segment, you will not be charged an additional credit.
{% endhint %}

Once added to your segments, all contacts are being refreshed automatically. If someone changes their role or leaves the company, their details will be updated. We will not charge you additional credits for the updates.

You can see your credit balance when hovering over “Credits” at the bottom of GoodFit’s menu.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.goodfit.io/goodfit-docs/product/segments/contact-credits.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
